Family Collaboration and Sessions
In my work with children and teens, I focus primarily on supporting them individually, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can explore their emotions, develop coping skills, and build confidence. However, I believe that the family plays a crucial role in the therapeutic process. To support this, I incorporate parenting sessions into the treatment plan as needed, tailoring the frequency and focus to fit your family’s unique circumstances.
Parenting sessions provide an opportunity for us to address challenges, explore ways to support your child’s progress, and strengthen the parent-child relationship. These sessions might focus on understanding your child’s emotional needs, implementing strategies to encourage growth at home, or addressing any relational patterns that may impact the family dynamic.
The number and focus of parenting sessions are flexible and determined collaboratively, based on what works best for your family. By combining individual therapy for the child or teen with parent involvement, we can work together to create lasting change and foster a supportive, connected environment for everyone.
